Legacy Writing

Your stories, in your words

How It Works

So often, a person’s story is gathered after they die by the people who love them, while those people are grieving, making decisions and trying to remember everything at once.

This gives you the chance to tell your story now.

Together, we’ll talk about the people, places, experiences, relationships, values and memories that have shaped your life. The big moments, the ordinary ones, the funny stories, the hard bits and the little details you would like your people to remember.

I’ll then thoughtfully organise what you’ve shared into a personalised legacy booklet. It won’t be a fully written autobiography or finished eulogy. It will be a meaningful record of your life and a strong foundation for the person who may one day write or deliver your eulogy.

We sit down and talk.

This isn’t a formal interview or a test of how much you can remember. It’s a relaxed, guided conversation about your life, the people in it and the moments that have stayed with you.

We follow the stories.

We’ll talk about the big milestones, but we’ll also make room for the ordinary things. The family traditions, favourite sayings, questionable decisions, hard-won lessons and small details that often say the most about a person.

I bring it all together.

I’ll thoughtfully organise what you’ve shared into a personalised legacy booklet. Your stories will be clear, easy to follow and ready to be kept and shared with the people who matter to you.

You leave something meaningful behind

Your booklet becomes a record of your life in your own words. It can also provide a valuable foundation for whoever may one day write or deliver your eulogy.
